Senior High School

Students get ready for the real world in Senior High School. The two-year specialized program prepares them for higher education, employment, or entrepreneurship. At Saint Joseph School, they can build their skills and knowledge in the sciences, humanities, and business under the Academic Track.

Our curriculum

In the Academic Track, students can choose to take up any of the following strands:

Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM)

Accountancy, Business, and Management (ABM)

Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS)

Each strand in the SHS program provides students with the academic foundation and practical experience necessary for success in their chosen fields.

Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM)

The STEM strand focuses on developing critical and analytical skills through the in-depth study of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. The program culminates in a capstone project: students, guided by research advisers, present a research project in a scientific forum.

Add-on subjects

The Saint Joseph School Senior High School curriculum integrates additional subjects that reinforce Catholic values and celebrate our Chinese-Filipino cultural heritage. These subjects support the spiritual, moral, and cultural development of students, ensuring that they graduate as well-rounded individuals, prepared for higher education and future endeavors.

Christian Living Education (CLE)

deepens the student’s understanding of the Catholic faith. There are four CLE levels, each focusing on an aspect of Catholic teachings, from fundamental doctrines to applying moral principles to contemporary issues.

Foreign Language Arts

teaches the Chinese language, with emphasis on Mandarin, to help students connect with their Chinese-Filipino roots through language and culture.
