The Junior and Senior High School pioneer batch of the Saint Joseph School – Red Cross Youth Council underwent a 4-day training with the support of the Red Cross Camarines Sur Chapter. The council is a newly established group, spearheaded by its president, Jillian Bernice Laviste, under the guidance of the club moderator, Mme. Ivy Arellano.

The first two days of the training were dedicated to the Youth Volunteer Formation Course (YVFC), where members learned about the history of the Red Cross and the key values a volunteer should possess.

With deepest appreciation, we thank Kuya Mhel Mark Paul Millare for his insightful discussion on the YVFC and for being with us during the first two days of training.
